D. Candaras joined families and
children at the Hampden County Juvenile Court in Springfield to celebrate
National Adoption Day. Senator Candaras offered remarks in a tribute to
adoptive families everywhere, particularly those present and whose adoptions
were finalized on National Adoption Day.

Senator Gale Candaras presented a
Resolution from the state legislature to Kyle Cote (front row) at the Paul
R. Baird Middle School in Ludlow for his outstanding performance on the
television show Jeopardy! During the show’s “Kids’ Week
2007.” Twelve-year-old Kyle competed with thousands of contestants. His
exceptional testing and personable interview won him the opportunity to be
one among fifteen contestants selected for the week. Kyle was cited for his
outstanding performance and “admirably served as a representative of Ludlow
and the Commonwealth.” With Kyle are Cote family members (back row, L-R)
